Healthcare Improvement Support is led by Pete Gordon with the support of associates with extensive multidisciplinary experience within healthcare.
Pete is a seasoned healthcare professional with a wealth of experience spanning 36 years, encompassing nursing, leadership, and improvement. His extensive healthcare experience led him to join the Emergency Care Intensive Support Team (ECIST), where he eventually became the head of the team and developed a strong reputation in urgent and emergency care improvement and patient flow expertise.
He is known for his pragmatic approach, keeping it simple, engaging frontline teams and fostering psychological safety to facilitate sustainable and continuous improvement.
Pete's expertise extends beyond the English NHS. He has supported patient flow improvement initiatives in other countries, including Canada, Saudi Arabia, Ireland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
